This soap dish is made in France, made in Limoges porcelain and nicely personalized for Martin de Candre by a painter from Trois-Moutiers (Poitou). Indispensable to drain your soap well, it has a drainer and a kind of cup that receives the water. It will immediately find its place on a sink, in your bathroom or even your kitchen! It is a useful object which, combined with a 100g, 160g or 250g soap will make a superb 100% made in France gift!

Before being individually wrapped by hand, all Martin de Candre soaps come from a long drying period in our workshops where they have been left to dry for months in wooden cases.
This time (6 to 8 months) is part of what will give them all their quality: a more elaborate, well-harmonized fragrance, and a very solid paste that will resist more water and prolong the life of the soap.
You can continue this drying time at home, by placing your soaps in particular in the linen cupboards: they will embalm! Our "regular" customers know that it is always a good idea to have a small stock of soaps at home to use only "very dry" ... because they are much more economical!
Remember: never enclose them in plastic and choose to keep them in a dry and ventilated space, where the ambient temperature varies between 18 and 21 ° C.
Since 2002, Laurence Giraud has been working with passion in her Poitou workshop, giving free rein to her artistic creation. She paints porcelain made in Limousin, in Saint-Yriex-la-Perche. She uses natural pigments that she fixes at high temperature (860 ° C) in a professional oven, and thus obtains unique pieces. The paint does not move, neither in the dishwasher, nor in the microwave, since the cooking has fixed the pigments in the first layers of the enamel.
